The invention relates to the technical field of rock wool board preparation, particularly to a vertical filament polymerization rock wool board and a production process thereof. The vertical filamentpolymerization rock wool board comprises a base layer, a waterproof layer, a fireproof layer and a surface layer, wherein the base layer is formed by arranging and combining vertical filament rock wool boards, an adhesive is arranged between every two adjacent vertical filament rock wool boards, the waterproof layer is bonded to the base layer through the adhesive, the fireproof layer is bonded onthe waterproof layer through the adhesive, and the surface layer is bonded on the fireproof layer through the adhesive. According to the invention, by means of the base layer, the waterproof layer, the fireproof layer and the surface layer, the polymerized rock wool board has the advantages of being high in strength and hardness, good in durability, high in adhesive strength and the like, whereinthe base layer is formed by permutation and combination of the vertical-filament rock wool boards, and the rock wool belt is not prone to deformation due to essential changes of the rock wool fiber direction, so that the normal indexes of fire prevention, heat preservation, heat insulation and sound absorption of the polymerized rock wool board are remarkably improved.
