The invention provides a formwork construction method. The formwork construction method comprises the steps that a concrete body is provided, the concrete body comprises a main body part and a plurality of vertical steel bars, the main body part comprises two oppositely-arranged vertical side faces and a transverse end face connected between the two vertical side faces, each vertical steel bar comprises a first end and a second end opposite to the first end, the first ends are inserted into the main body part, and the second ends are exposed out of the transverse end face; a preset position isdetermined on each second end, a positioning strip is arranged at each preset position, and at least one ends of the positioning strips are exposed out of the vertical side faces; a formwork is arranged on at least one side of the concrete body and comprises a formwork body and a plurality of side ribs, the formwork body comprises a working face and a supporting face opposite to the working face,the side ribs are arranged on the periphery of the supporting face and deviate from the working face, the working face is flush with the vertical side faces, and the side ribs abut against the positioning strips; and gaps between the side ribs and the transverse end face are filled, and installation of the formwork is completed.
