The invention provides a diatomite brick and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of diatomite engineering, aiming at solving the problems of complicated manufacturing of water storage bricks or high manufacturing cost of light heat-resistant materials in the prior art. The diatomite brick is prepared from the following raw materials, in percentage by weight: a raw material A including 80-89% of diatomite and 5-10% of attapulgite, and a raw material B comprising 0.2-0.3% of explosion-proof fiber, 3-5% of hydroxymethyl propyl cellulose and 2-9% of binding agent; thesum of the raw material A and the raw material B is 100%, and 0-0.5% of the filler and 2-9% of the binding agent are added. When the diatomite brick disclosed by the invention is used as a water storage brick, a natural way is combined with manual measures, so that accumulation, permeation and purification of rainwater are realized to the greatest extent, and utilization of rainwater resources andprotection of an ecological environment are promoted; when used as a heat-resistant material, the material is low in density and suitable for being used when a low-density material is needed. The preparation method is simple and low in cost.
本发明的目的是针对于现有技术中蓄水砖存在的制作复杂或者轻质耐热材料造价高的问题,提供了一种硅藻土砖及其制备方法,属于硅藻土技术领域。本发明的硅藻土砖由如下重量百分比含量的原材料制成:原料A:硅藻土80‑89%,凹凸棒土5‑10%;原料B:防爆纤维0.2~0.3%,羟甲基丙基纤维素3‑5%,结合剂2‑9%;原料A+B=100%,再加入填充剂0‑0.5%,结合剂2‑9%。本发明的硅藻土砖作为蓄水砖时,将自然途径与人工措施相结合,最大限度地实现雨水的积存、渗透和净化,促进雨水资源的利用和生态环境的保护;作为耐热材料时,该材料密度低,适合需要低密度材料时使用。本发明制备方法简单,造价低。
