The invention belongs to the technical field of water reducing agents, and particularly relates to a preparation method of a polycarboxylate-type high-performance water reducing agent. The method comprises the following steps: step 1, preparing a polycarboxylate-type water reducing agent solution; step 2, performing heating the solution, and collecting water reducing agent particles; and step 3, grinding the polycarboxylate-type water reducing agent particles: grinding the polycarboxylate-type water reducing agent particles to obtain polycarboxylate-type water reducing agent powder, and filling and sealing the polycarboxylate-type water reducing agent powder. The step 2 is completed by adopting a polycarboxylate-type high-performance water reducing agent preparation device in a matching manner. According to the method, the evaporation of water in the polycarboxylate-type water reducer solution and the precipitation speed of the polycarboxylate-type water reducer are increased, and theprocessing efficiency is improved. The collecting process of the polycarboxylate-type high-performance water reducing agent particles is convenient to operate and sufficient in collection.
