The invention discloses a self-luminous road edge stone and a manufacturing method thereof. The self-luminous road edge stone comprises a road edge stone body, a light-emitting assembly and a photovoltaic assembly; two positions are reserved at the top of the road edge stone body, a hollow cavity is formed in the road edge stone body, and a hole is reserved in the side surface of the road edge stone body; the light-emitting assembly and the photovoltaic assembly are located at two reserved positions of the top of the road edge stone body respectively and connected with the top of the road edgestone body through hot melt adhesives respectively, the areas of the light-emitting assembly and the photovoltaic assembly account for half of the area of the top of the road edge stone body, and theconnected road edge stone body, light-emitting assembly and photovoltaic assembly are packaged by covering epoxy resin. The road traffic stone overcomes the defects that in the prior art, a road edgestone is single in function and cannot play a road guiding role, the road edge stone can store energy in the daytime and emit light at night through the stored electric energy, and thus traffic accidents are avoided.
