The invention provides a continuous wall grab bucket device and a control method thereof. The continuous wall grab bucket device comprises a frame body, a grab bucket mechanism which comprises a connecting rod and a bucket head, a driving mechanism which is arranged in the inner space of the frame body and hinged to the other end of the connecting rod to drive the bucket head to be opened or closed, and an eccentric vibration mechanism which is arranged on the frame body, and is suitable for vibrating in the vertical direction so as to promote the frame body to generate vibration or a vibration trend, wherein one end of the connecting rod is hinged to the bucket head, and the bucket head is hinged to the lower end of the frame body. According to the continuous wall grab bucket device, theeccentric vibration mechanism is arranged on the frame body of the continuous wall grab bucket device, and the vibration of the eccentric vibration mechanism in the up-down direction is utilized to enable the frame body to generate up-down vibration or the vibration trend, so that the purposes of accelerating tooth feeding and breaking the stratum are achieved; and when the bucket head is closed,the bucket head can be helped to crush the loosened stratum, so that the resistance when the bucket head is closed is reduced, and the closing time of the bucket head is shortened.
