The invention belongs to the technical field of engineering machinery, and relates to a hybrid power type skid loader which comprises a power system and an electrical system, the power system comprises a diesel engine, a generator and a working motor, both the diesel engine and the working motor can provide power for the skid loader, and the electrical system comprises an auxiliary power control device and a storage battery. The auxiliary power control device can control the generator to charge the storage battery or control the storage battery to supply power to the working motor according tothe working condition of the diesel engine. Compared with a traditional single high-power engine, the cost and oil consumption are greatly reduced; control can be carried out according to different rotating speed intervals and power curves of the diesel engine, the generator is selected to charge the storage battery or the storage battery is selected to supply power to the working motor so that the working motor can be matched with the diesel engine to provide hybrid power for the skid steer loader, and the hybrid power type skid loader has the advantages of simple structure, convenience in use, high product cost performance and fuel economy and high practicability.
