An active speed reduction type multifunctional deceleration strip comprises an upper working base and a main working base; an inner working cavity with an upward opening is formed in the main workingbase, bearing wheel sliding ways with forward openings are evenly formed in the rear end of the upper end of the inner working cavity, and main sliding way cavities are connected to the rear ends of the bearing wheel sliding ways. The conveying belt is applied to the deceleration strip, so that it is guaranteed that a vehicle is forcibly decelerated when running too fast, and it is guaranteed thatthe speed of the vehicle is certainly lower than a certain speed after passing through the deceleration strip; the speed of the conveying belt can be adjusted, so that the deceleration process is mild, and accidents caused by the deceleration strip are prevented; and meanwhile, the deceleration strip is combined with height and weight limiting and width limiting equipment, so that the occupied volume of the vehicle detection device is reduced while the operation of the vehicle is ensured.
