The invention discloses a safety monitoring device for bridge driving. According to the safety monitoring device, the height can be automatically adjusted by arranging an intercepting rod which can be automatically adjusted; and meanwhile the gravity of a vehicle can be detected, whether the vehicle meets the weight limiting requirement or not is reminded; and meanwhile, the height of the intercepting rodcan be adjusted to prevent the intercepting rod from being damaged when a driver does not judge accurately, and also damage to the vehicle can also be reduced, and the high integration degree is achieved.
