The invention discloses a sponge city rainwater comprehensive control method. The method is characterized in that a rainwater collection module is used for collecting rainwater; a water control and pollution elimination module is used for filtering the collected rainwater; a drainage module is used for storing and transferring the collected rainwater or the filtered rainwater; and a water using module is used for using water coming from the drainage module or the water controlling and pollution eliminating module. Rainwater is purified by plant root systems, soil and the like and then is collected into the rainwater pipe channel through the open blind pipe. The rainwater pipe channel stores the collected purified rainwater or directly supplies landscape water for greening irrigation. Rainwater exceeding urban requirements can be stored and transferred to places where rainwater is needed, and flood disasters caused by excessive rainwater are reduced or relieved. Rainwater with differentcleanliness can be stored and used in a classified mode, and the utilization rate of the rainwater is increased.
