The invention relates to the technical field of road construction, in particular to an asphalt laying auxiliary device for road construction. The device comprises a bottom plate; a material bearing and stirring mechanism which is arranged on the bottom plate and used for containing asphalt and stirring the contained asphalt; a paving driving mechanism which is arranged on the bottom plate and is used for paving the asphalt in the material bearing and stirring mechanism; and a compacting mechanism which is arranged on the bottom plate and used for compacting the asphalt laid on the ground by the laying driving mechanism. The material bearing and stirring mechanism comprises a heating box which is vertically disposed on the bottom plate; a stirring box which is vertically arranged in the heating box; and two stirring rods which are vertically and rotatably arranged at the two ends of the interior of the stirring box correspondingly, the two stirring rods can move in the same direction orin the opposite directions, the equipment can conduct compacting and paving while asphalt is paved, and the situation that the paving efficiency and paving quality of the asphalt are affected due toasphalt accumulation is avoided.
