The invention discloses a collecting device for water surface floating objects in a rural canal system. The collecting device comprises a floating object guide assembly inclining towards a canal bank,a collecting assembly used for collecting the floating objects and a fixing piece fixedly connected with the canal bank, the floating object guide assembly comprises a first floating piece and a guide rod used for guiding the floating objects to the collecting assembly, the guide rod is connected with the first floating piece to float on the water surface, and one end of the guide rod abuts against the fixing piece to prevent the floating object guide assembly from floating along with water flow; and the collecting assembly is arranged at the end, close to the fixing piece, of the guide rod and used for collecting the floating objects. The position of the collecting device can be changed along with rising and falling of the water level, the floating objects on the water surface are guidedand collected, and the collecting device is simple in structure, easy to implement and suitable for collecting the floating objects on the water surface in the rural canal system.
