The self-cleaning protective fence comprises a frame, wherein the frame comprises stand columns, transverse rods, mounting frames and glass plates, wherein the stand columns and the transverse rods are of hollow structures and communicate with one another, the lower ends of the stand columns are connected with the ground, the upper ends ofthe stand columns are connected with the transverse rods, the mounting frames are rectangular and fixedly arranged between every two adjacent stand columns, annular mounting grooves are formed in theinner wall of the mounting frames, the side edges of the glass plates are embedded in the mounting grooves, a pair of annular air bags is arranged in each mounting groove, the two air bags are locatedon the two sides of each glass plate correspondingly, the two sides of each air bag are fixedly connected with glass plate and the side wall of the mounting groove, and the mounting frames are connected with the stand columns through air outlet pipes, and the air outlet pipes communicate with the interior of the stand columns.
