The invention relates to a method for synthesizing a calcium hexaluminate material by gel casting. The method is characterized in that analytically pure Al2O3 powder and CaO powder are taken as main raw materials, acrylamide (AM) is taken as a monomer, N,N'-methylene bisacrylamide (MABM) is used as a cross-linking agent, triamine citrate is used as a dispersing agent, N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine (TEMED) is used as a catalyst, ammonium persulfate (ASP) is used as an initiator, and premixed solution preparing, pulping, injection molding, demolding, drying and sintering are performed prepare a calcium hexaluminate material blank by adopting a gel injection molding method. The calcium hexaluminate material prepared by the method has the advantages of simple process flow, uniform material components and density, few defects, high green body strength, convenience in processing and the like, so that the comprehensive quality of a manufactured product is remarkably improved.
