The invention discloses an active electric power safety fence, and the safety fence comprises an infrared transmitting handrail and an infrared receiving handrail which are vertically arranged in parallel, and further comprises an alarm judgment circuit, and a sound alarm device, a light alarm device and a wireless transceiving module which are connected with the alarm judgment circuit, the alarmjudgment circuit is used for judging whether an alarm triggering condition is met or not according to the infrared signal receiving conditions of the at least two infrared receiving probes, and sending alarm signals to the sound alarm device, the light alarm device and the wireless receiving and transmitting module after the alarm triggering condition is met. According to the invention, the infrared emission railing and the infrared receiving railing are matched to detect whether a person intrudes or not, and when the person intrudes, the sound alarm device and the light alarm device are adopted to actively (warn) the intruder, and alarm information is sent to the terminal and/or the background server through the wireless receiving and sending module, so that a constructor is actively reminded in time.
