The invention discloses a processing technology for improving the strength of a coal gangue hollow brick, and relates to the technical field of hollow bricks, and the processing technology specifically comprises the following steps: 1) putting tellurium powder and silicon powder into a high-temperature furnace, spin-coating a silicon dioxide/silicon substrate with a gold solution, putting the substrate at the downstream position of the high-temperature furnace, and carrying out high-temperature calcination to obtain modified silicon telluride particles; 2) crushing coal gangue, industrial waste soil, shell powder, ceramic powder, furnace slag, bentonite and granite tailings, injecting a water source, and conducting uniform mixing for later use; 3) adding the modified silicon telluride particles into the standby material, conducting uniform mixing, carrying out sealed aging, and conducting extruding through a brick extruder to obtain a molded hollow brick blank; and 4) sending the air-dried hollow brick blank into a sintering kiln for sintering to obtain the required high-strength coal gangue hollow brick. The hollow brick prepared by the invention has excellent mechanical properties, and is low in raw material cost, simple in process and suitable for large-scale production.
