The invention discloses a split type corner brace. The split type corner brace comprises a first corner brace body which is arranged on the outer side and a second corner brace body which is arrangedon the inner side, openings are formed in the corresponding positions of the inner side of the first corner brace body and the outer side of the second corner brace body correspondingly, the opening of the first corner brace body and the opening of the second corner brace body form an installation groove, an expansion wedge block is arranged in the installation groove, screw holes are formed in the expansion wedge block, and a sectional material is arranged on the first corner brace body and the second corner brace body in a sleeving mode and fixedly connected with the screw holes of the expansion wedge block through countersunk head screws. According to the split type corner brace, the expansion wedge block is arranged in the first corner brace body and the second corner brace body, and the first corner brace body and the second corner brace body are tightly attached to the sectional material under the acting force of the expansion wedge block, so that large enough friction force andfirmness are generated; and the expansion wedge block can move in the length direction of the installation groove, when the expansion wedge block is connected with the sectional material, the requirement for the position precision of a sectional material counter bore is low, and the position deviation of the counter bore can be corrected by moving the expansion wedge block.
