The invention relates to the technical field of municipal engineering, and discloses a mounting device for a municipal manhole cover. The mounting device comprises a top plate; a transversely-arrangedfirst groove is formed in the middle of the upper surface of the top plate; two groups of second sliding grooves which are distributed in a bilateral symmetry mode and are perpendicular to the firstgroove are formed in the back side of the upper surface of the top plate; supporting rods are glidingly mounted in the second sliding grooves; first sliding grooves are formed in the front side and the back side of the first groove; a movable box is glidingly mounted on the first sliding grooves; a first lead screw is rotationally mounted on the front side surface of the movable box; a second motor with an output shaft extending rightwards is fixedly mounted on the left side of the upper surface of the movable box; and two groups of symmetrically-distributed first bevel gears are fixedly mounted on the output shaft of the second motor. The mounting device has the beneficial effects that the manhole cover mounting process is simplified, the labor amount of workers is reduced, the device iseasy to locate, the device is not required to be moved, tedious operations of repeated positioning are avoided, and actual use is facilitated.
