The magnesia carbon brick is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by mass: 60 to 80 percent of fused magnesia, 10 to 20 percent of fused magnesia-zircon sand, 10 to 14 percent of graphite, 2.5 to 3.5 percent of liquid resin, 0.5 to 2 percent ofcarbon-containing resin powder and 0.3 to 1.0 percent of boron carbide powder. The magnesia carbon brick provided by the invention has good slag corrosion resistance to low-alkalinity slag, and the service life of a magnesia carbon brick furnace lining can be effectively prolonged.
