The invention relates to the field of bridge construction, in particular to a construction trestle which comprises a plurality of steel pipe piles inserted into river soil; an inter-pile parallel connection used for connecting the two steel pipe piles; a bearing beam fixedly mounted at the tops of the two steel pipe piles; bailey pieces are erected on the bearing beam; a distributive girder fixedat the upper end of the bailey piece; a bridge deck slab mounted on the distribution beam and used for bearing the construction machinery; and a limiting device used for mounting and limiting the bailey pieces. The two ends of the inter-pile parallel connection are fixed to the two adjacent steel pipe piles respectively, the bailey pieces are perpendicular to the bearing beams, and the distribution beams are perpendicular to the bailey pieces. The limiting device comprises a limiting plate fixed on the bearing beam and a connecting plate arranged on the limiting plate; the connecting plate isconnected with the bailey pieces; the connecting plate is connected with the bailey pieces through bolts; a bracket support is arranged on the bearing beam; and the bracket support is used for mounting and fixing the bearing beam on the steel pipe piles. The stability of the construction trestle when river water rises is improved.
