The construction method of the steel-concrete composite bridge comprises the steps: manufacturing prefabricated bent cap and the prefabricated main beam sections, pouring concrete, hoisting the prefabricated bent cap, connecting outwards-extending steel bars with the bent cap extending sections, covering the joints of the outwards-extending steel bars and the bent cap extending sections with concrete, hoisting the prefabricated main beam sections, and connecting the prefabricated main beam sections with the prefabricated bent cap. The bridge structure is low in overall structure height, the construction cost of a bridge can be reduced, and the attractiveness of the bridge is improved.
