The invention discloses a modular ceiling joist structure for indoor decoration, and relates to the technical field of ceiling joists. The structure comprises a longitudinal keel, transverse keels, amounting frame and a hanging column and is characterized in that the transverse keels are mounted above the longitudinal keel, lateral sliding grooves are formed in the left side wall and the right side wall of the interior of the longitudinal keel, sliding blocks are arranged on the circumferential side faces of the lateral sliding grooves and are in sliding fit with the lateral sliding grooves,and a plurality of packaging side plates are arranged on the lower surfaces of the transverse keels. The upper surfaces of the packaging side plates are provided with first retention bolts, and the right side surfaces of the packaging side plates are provided with second retention bolts. The mounting frame and the transverse keels are fixed through tightening bolts, the distance between the two transverse keels is adjusted through sliding of the sliding blocks and the lateral sliding grooves, the positions of the transverse keels and the longitudinal keel are fixed through the packaging side plates, and the flexibility and stability of the ceiling joists are improved.
