The invention relates to an electro-hydraulic differential cylinder of a damping hydraulic rammer compactor. The electro-hydraulic differential cylinder integrates gas, electricity, liquid and machinery into a whole to form a differential oil cylinder, and mainly comprises an oil cylinder, an acceleration buffer cavity, an absorption storage device, a large-flow oil pipe, an integrated cylinder bottom, a differential oil way and an oil cylinder piston rod to achieve high-frequency switching action, and no impact fluctuation exists at the tail end of the stroke. Impact pressure and pulsating pressure generated by severe changes of pressure and flow of a system can be absorbed, and besides, oversupply energy can be absorbed and stored. Sharp alternate damping fluctuation of the liquid pressure in a pipeline due to hydraulic impact is avoided.
