The pedestrian stairway comprises a stairway body (100) and anti-skid snow melting unit plates (200), wherein the stairway body comprises a plurality ofstairway step parts (101) which are upwards, each stairway step part comprises a horizontal pedal surface (1011) and a vertical connecting surface (1012) which is connected between the adjacent horizontal pedal surfaces, and the anti-skid snow melting unit plates can be selectively stacked on the horizontal pedal surfaces (1011) or the vertical connecting surfaces (1012). According to the pedestrian stairway, the anti-skid snow melting unit plates are arranged on the stairway step parts and are promoted to be transposed and stacked, the anti-skid snow melting unit plates are stacked on the horizontal pedal surfaces of the stairway step parts when needed and stacked on the vertical connecting surfaces of the stairway step parts to be hidden and stored when not used, so that the stairway space is effectively utilized, the cost is low, the structure is simple and practical, by means of the combination of skid resistance and snow melting, the anti-skid requirement under various ice and snow conditions can be met, and the safety of pedestrians climbing the stairway is improved.
