The invention provides a pressure regulating valve and a construction machine. The pressure regulating valve is provided with a drive spool that is movable in the axial direction; an electromagnetic proportional valve which has a control spool disposed so as to be movable in a direction different from the axial direction, and disposed on both sides of the drive spool in the axial direction; and aposition compensation mechanism that compensates for the actual position of the drive spool with respect to the command position of the drive spool based on the electromagnetic proportional valve, onthe basis of a displacement in which the position of the drive spool in the axial direction is converted to a direction different from the axial direction.

The invention provides a pressure regulating valve and a construction machine.
