The invention relates to a suspension kiln for producing lime. The suspension kiln comprises a rotational flow preheater assembly, a rotational flow cooler assembly and a calcinator. One discharging pipe of the rotational flow preheater assembly is connected with the lower end of the calcinator; a smoke outlet of the calcinator is connected with the rotational flow preheater assembly, and a material outlet of the calcinator is connected with the rotational flow cooler assembly. The suspension kiln for producing lime provided by the invention can calcine limestone with small granularity, improves the utilization rate of raw materials, improves the quality of finished lime, and is beneficial to resource saving and environmental protection.
