The invention discloses a buckling-restrained energy dissipation support. The buckling-restrained energy dissipation support comprises at least one supporting steel plate, wherein the left side and the right side of each supporting steel plate are each connected with a buffer transition plate; the other side of each buffer transition plate is connected with a buckling device; the buckling deviceson the left sides of the supporting steel plates and the buckling devices on the right sides of the supporting steel plates are the same or different in structure; the buffer transition plates and thebuckling devices on the same side are arranged in a same building structure connecting beam; the building structure connecting beam is connected with a main body structure wall; the supporting steelplates are shear stress type metal supporting steel plates or bending stress type metal supporting steel plates; the buckling devices are anchor bars or anchor bolts; the buckling devices are combinations of the anchor bars or the anchor bolts and shear keys; the shear keys are small buffer transition plates; bolt holes are formed in the side faces of the shear keys; and studs are fixed in the bolt holes. The support can play a role in consuming earthquake energy and protecting a main body structure, and the condition that a connecting beam part of a traditional building structure is prone tobeing damaged is improved.
