The invention discloses a water stain prevention faucet for a public washroom. The water stain prevention faucet comprises a U-shaped water pipe, and a rotating block is rotatably connected to the topwall of the water pipe in a penetrating mode; a valve plate is fixedly connected to the end, located in the water pipe, of the rotating block, and a handle is welded on the side wall of the rotatingblock; the handle is of a hollow structure; the water pipe is rotatably connected with a rotating shaft in a penetrating mode through a sealing bearing, and an impeller is in interference fit with thesection, located in the water pipe, of the rotating shaft; a micro-generator is fixedly connected with the end, located at the exterior of the water pipe, of the rotating shaft, and a storage batteryis arranged in the rotating block, and connected with the micro-generator in series through a wire; and a water stain prevention device is arranged in the handle. The water stain prevention faucet has the advantages that, when the faucet is closed after being used, water on the handle can be absorbed and treated, and the situation that generated water stain is difficult to clean is avoided; meanwhile, cross infection is avoided, and the faucet can be automatically closed in a delayed mode; and water resource waste due to closing of the faucet is avoided.
