The invention discloses a subway station expanded end assembly type gantry crane rail foundation and a construction method thereof. The rail foundation comprises a plurality of combined type steel structural components which are sequentially arranged and connected; each combined steel structural component comprises a steel support fixing end arranged on an inclined support at the inner side of a foundation expanding end; each combined steel structural component further comprises a steel purlin beam foundation arranged below a gantry crane rail, the two ends of the steel purlin beam foundationsare erected and fixed to the steel support fixing ends correspondingly, and the center lines of the steel purlin beam foundations and the center line of a non-expanded end rail beam foundation are located in the same plane; and the steel purlin beam foundations are connected with the inner wall of the side wall through transverse connecting parts in the horizontal direction to form transverse constraint. According to the subway station expanded end assembly type gantry crane rail foundation and the construction method thereof, an existing structure is utilized, and no influence is caused to foundation construction; and meanwhile, the problems that the expanded end gantry crane foundation is long in construction time, tedious in step and large in occupied space can be solved, and the influence on follow-up accessory structure construction can also be reduced.
