The invention relates to a settlement-adjustable shunting locomotive foundation and an adjusting method. The adjusting method comprises the steps that a lower cantilever column type buckle system of astrip-shaped foundation is arranged so as to limit the plane torsion of the strip-shaped foundation; a jack lifting system is arranged to adjust settlement deformation of the strip-shaped foundation;grouting is carried out and bottom gaps of the strip-shaped foundation are filled; according to the detected settlement deformation amount, the height of the strip-shaped foundation is adjusted through a jack, and the strip-shaped foundation returns to the original position; and concrete is grouted into the gaps formed in the bottoms of the strip-shaped foundation after the strip-shaped foundation is lifted, so that the bottom of the strip-shaped foundation obtain the foundation bearing capacity. The settlement adjusting method for the strip-shaped foundations of a shunting locomotive traveling track is simple in form, easy to construct, short in construction period, good in economical efficiency and capable of achieving multiple times of adjustment.
