The intelligent electric pole comprisesa transmission tower and a sensing optical fiber, wherein the sensing optical fiber enters from the upper part of the power transmission tower and is fixed on the inner wall of the hollow power transmission tower in a laying mode including cylindrical spiral line laying and vertical laying or is arranged in a shell of the power transmission tower when the power transmission tower is produced, andthe sensing optical fiber is led out from the lower portion of the power transmission tower and then is connected into an optical fiber protection device with an end face reflector or is output fromthe output end of the upper portion of the power transmission tower after being continuously laid reversely and upwards. The detection of the stress or being moment is completed, on one hand, whetherthe tower has the risk of fracture or bending or not can be judged, and early warning work is carried out, on the other hand, if accidents such as breakage or bending happen to the tower, the accidentsite can be quickly positioned, timely repair is achieved, and normal operation of a power system is guaranteed.
