The invention discloses a dual-purpose faucet with automatic induction and manual pressing functions. The dual-purpose faucet comprises a valve body, a water outlet pipe, a cold and hot water inlet hose and an infrared induction sensor, wherein a manual system valve element is installed on the upper portion in the valve body; a water inlet of a temperature adjusting valve element communicates withthe cold and hot water inlet hose; and a water outlet of the temperature adjusting valve element communicates with a water inlet of an induction electromagnetic valve and an inlet of a manual systemwater inlet pipe. According to the dual-purpose faucet, an induction automatic control system and a manual control system are integrally arranged in the valve body, automatic water outlet and automatic closing can be achieved through induction, manual water outlet and manual closing can also be achieved, and the dual-purpose faucet is suitable for a basin faucet for domestic water. The technical defect that the using method and function are single is overcome, infection of hand bacteria through a contact way is avoided, and a contact-free sanitary function is added for meeting the requirementof people for the product using method under the condition that domestic water is used. The dual-purpose faucet is simple in structure, convenient to install, maintain and use, capable of automatically saving water, free of contact during hand washing and long in service life.
