The invention discloses a production method of a light roof panel. The production method comprises the following steps: collecting construction waste and soil, mixing the construction waste and the soil to prepare aggregate, mixing the prepared aggregate with a calcareous material to obtain A, adding recycled aggregate into the mixed material, conducting mixing again to obtain B, and conducting separate placing after mixing; adding fly ash into the B prepared through mixing, conducting mixing again to obtain C, mixing the C prepared through mixing with a calcareous material again to prepare amaterial D, carrying out mortar coating treatment by using the material D to prepare regenerated fly ash ceramsite, and putting the regenerated fly ash ceramsite into a pre-prepared model to prepare the required light roof panel. According to the method, resources can be recycled through utilization of the construction waste, most of materials used in the whole process are low-price raw materials,the production cost is reduced, the method is environmentally friendly, the strength and toughness of the roof panel can be improved, and the roof panel can be toughened.
