The invention discloses application of superfine tailings in concrete, and belongs to the technical field of tailing treatment. The concrete is prepared from the following components in parts by mass:13-19 parts of a cementing material, 0-4 parts of superfine tailings, 33.5-35 parts of fine aggregate, 41-42.5 parts of stones, 5-7 parts of water and 0.2 part of a water reducing agent. According tothe invention, the superfine tailings are particularly used as concrete admixtures to replace cementing materials and water, so that the resource utilization of the superfine tailings is realized, and an effective way is provided for the comprehensive treatment of national tailings ponds. According to the concrete, the dosage of a cementing material and carbon emission are remarkably reduced, more importantly, the economic value of tailings can be greatly improved while the strength of the concrete is improved, and the concrete has a wide application prospect.
