The invention provides an anti-collision protection system for a long and large downhill section of an expressway, which comprises a plurality of continuously arranged protective guard units and an upper host arranged at the peripheries of the protective guard units, and each protective guard unit comprises a rubber cuboid and a rubber right-angled triangular prism which are detachably and fixedlyconnected and are coated with anti-corrosion and waterproof paint on the surface; the side face of the rubber right-angle triangular prism faces a highway traffic lane, the first bottom face is aligned and adjacent to the front side face of the rubber cuboid, fixing holes are formed in the left side and the right side of the rubber cuboid from top to bottom in a penetrating mode, and a pluralityof automatic distance measuring instruments and alarms are embedded in the side face of the rubber right-angle triangular prism. The automatic range finder automatically measures the distance betweenthe head of the coming vehicle and the protective guard unit and uploads distance data to the upper host through the wireless transmission module, and the upper host compares the distance data with apreset threshold value and controls the alarm to start a corresponding strategy through the wireless transmission module when the distance data exceeds the preset threshold value. Automatic collisionavoidance can be achieved, and vehicle collision deformation damage can be reduced.
