The invention discloses a reverse clay inclined core wall anti-seepage cofferdam structure and a construction method, and relates to the technical field of hydraulic engineering. The reverse clay inclined core wall anti-seepage cofferdam structure comprises a sand gravel covering layer covering a bed rock layer; a closure berm formed by sand gravel is constructed on the sand gravel covering layer;a rock block layer playing a role in protection and seepage prevention is laid on an upstream side of the closure berm; a water intercepting groove connected with the bed rock layer is dug in the sand gravel covering layer on a downstream side of the closure berm; the downstream side of the closure berm is covered with a clay anti-seepage layer; the lower edge of the clay anti-seepage layer extends into the water intercepting groove and makes contact with the bed rock layer; and the side, away from the closure berm, of the clay anti-seepage layer is covered with a downstream side sand gravellayer. According to the method, control construction is conducted on the basis of the cofferdam structure, and on the whole, the problems that an existing cofferdam structure is relatively long in construction period, relatively high in manufacturing cost and not suitable for seepage prevention of a sand gravel riverbed containing few fine particles can be solved through implementation of the method.
