The invention relates to the technical field of building curtain wall energy conservation, and discloses a breathing type double-layer glass curtain wall system which comprises an outer-layer glass curtain wall; the outer-layer glass curtain wall is made of heat insulation sectional materials and located outside the outer ends of an upper-layer plate and a lower-layer plate; the outer-layer glasscurtain wall is completely closed; a second supporting device is arranged at the position, close to a supporting rod, of an indoor floor; the second supporting device is connected with an inner-layerglass curtain wall; the inner-layer glass curtain wall is made of non-heat-insulation sectional materials; a ventilation interlayer is formed between the outer-layer glass curtain wall and the inner-layer glass curtain wall; a glass door is arranged at the position, spaced by the width of a third ventilation device, of the inner-layer glass curtain wall; the glass door is made of the heat insulation sectional materials and connected with the indoor floor; the inner-layer glass curtain wall, the third ventilation device, the glass door and the indoor floor sequentially define an area with a closed side line; and after the glass door is closed, air flow circulation at the two sides of the glass door can be interrupted. According to the breathing type double-layer glass curtain wall system, under the condition of not depending on a complex mechanical system, the effects of temperature adjustment in summer and heat insulation in winter are achieved.
