The invention relates to the technical field of suspended ceilings, in particular to a single-layer keel plate spliced suspended ceiling and a mounting method thereof. The single-layer keel plate spliced suspended ceiling comprises keels installed on a top wall and panels installed on the keels through connecting clamping pieces; each keel comprises an installing rib and connecting ribs arranged at the two ends of the installing rib respectively, and hooked ribs are arranged at the ends of the connecting ribs through U-shaped pieces; each connecting clamping piece is in an I shape and comprises a keel connecting plate, a panel connecting plate and a clamping seam plate arranged between the keel connecting plate and the panel connecting plate; and at least two grooves allowing the hooked ribs to be inserted therein are formed in the face, close to the panel connecting plate, of the keel connecting plate, so that the two ends of the keel connecting plate are in lap joint with the two hooked rib of one keel correspondingly; and each panel connecting plate is connected with the corresponding panel. The hooked ribs are arranged at the ends of the keel, and the I-shaped connecting clamping pieces are provided with the grooves capable of being matched with the hooked ribs, so that a concave-convex matched connecting mode is achieved, and compared with a flat plate lap joint mode of atraditional I-shaped piece, the connecting stability is higher.
