The invention relates to a modularly assembled veneer decorative plate structure and a mounting method thereof. The structure comprises a base plate, decorative line profiles and profile mounting baseparts; the profile mounting base parts are fixedly connected to the base plate, each decorative line profile corresponds to one or more profile mounting base parts, and the decorative line profiles are detachably buckled on the corresponding profile mounting base parts. According to the method, the decorative line profiles with buckling matching parts and the profile mounting base parts are usedfor realizing a modular assembly mode that the decorative surface is detachable and replaceable. Improvement is made on the basis of the prior art, a veneer is not fixed to the base plate at a time any more, various shapes of the decorative line profiles can be prefabricated, the decorative line profiles and the profile installation base parts are unified in assembly structure, convenient and rapid modular assembly can be achieved, the veneer on the base plate can be freely disassembled and replaced according to user requirements, operation is easy, practicability is high, installation is firm, and therefore the device is worth popularizing and using in the field.
