The method includes the steps that a first roof truss is assembled on an assembling platform and welded; a temporary supporting plane is placed on the first roof truss, and a second roof truss is assembled on the temporary supporting plane and welded; the second roof truss and the first roof truss are erected in sequence to be assembled and are supported and fixed through connecting rods; a platform stretching across the two roof trusses is arranged on the vertical faces of the first roof truss and the second roof truss, and a safety wind rope is arranged on the platform; and the upper chords and the lower chords of the first roof truss and the second roof truss are fixed. When a steel pipe truss isassembled, a special jig frame is not adopted, and the assembling platform erected on the ground is used, so that a large amount of measure materials are saved; and the two vertical faces are horizontally spliced, so that the consistency of the boundary dimensions and joints of the two vertical faces of the pipe truss roof truss can be effectively guaranteed.
