The invention discloses a radio and television tower moistureproof lightning protection process, which comprises the following steps that (1) lightning arresting devices are arranged around the towertop and the middle position of a television tower, and the top ends of the lightning arresting devices positioned around the tower top are higher than the tower top; (2) wire holes are formed in steelpipes at the top and the middle of the television tower, and wires of the lightning arresting devices penetrate through the wire holes and are connected to the underground; (3) the edges of the wireholes are fixedly provided with rain covers; and (4) the television tower is integrally painted, and the joints of the lightning arresting devices and the television tower are painted and sealed. Thethinking is innovative, the lightning arresting devices are adopted, the occupied space is reduced while the lightning arresting function is guaranteed, and multifunctionalization of the television tower is facilitated; and meanwhile, the wires of the lightning arresting devices are hidden in the steel pipes of the television tower through the wire holes and the rain covers, and rainwater is prevented from entering the steel pipes to form accumulated water to corrode the steel pipes.
