The invention provides a graded drainage ditch structure and a drainage method. The graded drainage ditch structure comprises an upper-layer drainage channel, a lower-layer drainage channel and a drainage unit, wherein the bottom surface of the upper-layer drainage channel is open, the top surface is provided with a plurality of water permeable grooves communicating with the upper-layer drainage channel, the lower-layer drainage channel is opened towards the top surface of the upper-layer drainage channel to communicate with the bottom surface of the upper-layer drainage channel, a lower waterdistribution plate arranged in the water flow direction in the lower-layer drainage channel is arranged in the lower-layer drainage channel, a water drainage unit is rotationally installed between each of the two inner side walls of the lower-layer drainage channel and the lower water distribution plate, and the water drainage units rotate to communicate the upper-layer drainage channel with thelower-layer drainage channel. By arranging the two layers of drainage channels, when the rainfall suddenly increases, the drainage component opens and conducts the two layers of drainage channels, sothat the drainage efficiency can be improved, and efficient drainage is realized.
