The invention relates to a slow-release water reducing agent with an early strength function and a preparation method of the water reducing agent. The water reducing agent is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 30-40 parts of TPEG, 1-3 parts of fumaric acid, 1-3 parts of methyl methacrylate, 3-5 parts of hydroxyethyl acrylate, 0.2-0.4 part of a composite oxidant, 0.05-0.1 part of a composite reducing agent, 0.1-0.3 part of a chain transfer agent, 1-4 parts of an alcohol amine compound, 50-60 parts of deionized water and 5-10 parts of liquid caustic soda. TPEG is mixed with deionized water; hydroxyethyl acrylate and deionized water are mixed and placed in a dropwise adding device A; the composite reducing agent, chain transfer agent and deionized water are mixed uniformly, and then the mixture is put into a dropwise adding device B; and the temperature is raised to 47 DEG C, fumaric acid and methyl methacrylate are put into a reaction device and stirred, a composite oxidant is added and stirred, solutions in the A and B are added dropwise, the temperature is kept for 1 hour, cooling is carried out, liquid caustic soda is added and uniformly stirred, and an alcohol amine compound is added and stirred to obtain the water reducing agent product. The water reducing agent effectively improves the early strength of concrete and effectively relieves the slump loss speed of the concrete.
