The invention relates to a green-returning glaze for ceramic ornaments, which comprises the following components in parts by weight: 12-16 parts of Yunnan soil, 2.8-3 parts of tin crystal material, 7.3-7.7 parts of pine ash, 1.6-1.9 parts of deep sea shell powder, 0.1-0.4 part of cobaltosic oxide, 4.9-5.4 parts of white agate, 0.08-0.12 part of olivine, 5-7 parts of expanded perlite and 18 parts of frit,wherein the frit is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 8-10 parts of black clay, 0.5-0.8 part of barium carbonate, 6-8 parts of talcum powder, 1.3-1.6 parts of zinc oxide and 3.5-4.5 parts of illite. The invention also relates to a preparation method of the green-returning glaze for the ceramic ornament, and a product prepared from the green-returning glaze is bright and smooth in glaze layer, simple and elegant in color, slightly lighter than blue, slightly purplish red in color, mysterious in east and extremely strong in decoration.
