The invention discloses a flatness detection device for highway engineering. The device comprises a moving platform, the lower end of the moving platform is fixedly connected with four walking seats at corresponding positions, the four walking seats are divided into two groups, a walking mechanism is disposed between the two walking seats in each group, and the upper end of the moving platform is provided with a device groove in a penetrating manner. A first rotating rod and a second rotating rod are rotatably connected to the inner wall of the device groove, a display device is arranged between the first rotating rod and the second rotating rod, the lower end of the first rotating rod penetrates through the inner bottom of the device groove and is fixedly connected with a driving device, and a guiding device is fixedly connected to the inner wall of the device groove; and a measuring rod is arranged at the inner bottom of the device groove in a penetrating mode, a measuring mechanism is arranged on the measuring rod, and a flow guiding device is fixedly connected to the side wall of the movable table. The device is reasonable in structural design, and has the advantage of being capable of observing the wave line graph fed back by the pavement flatness in real time.
