The invention discloses a high-altitude large-span supporting platform and a construction method thereof. The high-altitude large-span supporting platform comprises multiple steel structure platforms connected with one another and multiple lifting stabilizing devices arranged on the steel structure platforms, and each lifting stabilizing device is arranged at the position, close to a frame column, of the corresponding steel structure platform. Each lifting stabilizing device comprises rotating wheels and a traction assembly, each traction assembly comprises an outer frame and a first rack, a second rack and a middle gear which are arranged in the outer frame, the first racks and the second racks are arranged in the outer frames in a sliding mode in the length direction of the outer frames, and each first rack and the corresponding second rack are meshed with the two sides of the corresponding middle gear correspondingly. The multiple steel structure platforms are installed with the help of the frame stand columns to form the supporting platforms, then steel pipes, batten keels and wood plates are laid on the supporting platforms to form supporting devices, then scaffolds are erected on the supporting devices, the structural strength of the supporting platforms is improved, the construction mode is simpler and more convenient, and the construction time is saved.
