A hanging basket of the elevator can be used for carrying constructors, building materials, matched tools and the like; the number of combined vertical frames can be properly increased or decreased according to the building construction height requirement; an electric hoist can drive the hanging basket to move upwards to convey vertical frame building materials, the building materials are not prone to falling, operation is convenient, and potential safety hazards are greatly reduced; along with rising of the vertical frames, a balance weight of a certain weight can be placed on a flat car, the gravity center of the whole structure cannot be too high, then the whole stability is high, and potential safety hazards caused by gravity center rising are greatly reduced; the whole structure can move along a transverse guide rail through a transverse walking mechanism, and the transverse walking stability is high enough; and a falling protector is connected between the hanging basket and a hanging bracket, and therefore even though a steel wire of the electric hoist is broken, the hanging basket cannot directly fall down, construction safety is ensured, and time is gained for constructors to maintain the elevator.
