The invention discloses an electric drive power system and a pure electric pneumatic tyred roller thereof. The pure electric pneumatic tyred roller comprises a battery pack, a high-voltage distribution box, a motor controller and drive power assemblies. The battery pack is connected with the high-voltage distribution box, the high-voltage distribution box is connected with the motor controller, the motor controller is connected with the two drive power assemblies which are arranged in parallel, and each drive power assembly comprises a motor, a transmission shaft, a brake, a speed reducer and a rear wheel set which are connected in sequence; and the battery pack, the high-voltage distribution box, the motor controller and the motor are connected with the control system, and the battery pack, the motor controller and the motor are also connected with a heat dissipation system. Pure electric energy driving of the pneumatic tyred roller can be achieved, a waste gas is not discharged during work, a noise is extremely low, the adopted double motors drive the speed reducers located in the two rear wheel sets respectively, and therefore the pure electric pneumatic tyred roller has road surface compaction performance such as compaction smoothness, a high climbing capacity and flexible compaction at the same time.
