The invention discloses a horizontally-distributed hydraulic energy storage device arranged inside an excavator working mechanism. The horizontally-distributed hydraulic energy storage device comprises a movable arm, a movable arm oil cylinder, a bucket rod oil cylinder, a bucket rod, a bucket oil cylinder, a bucket and three piston type energy accumulators. According to the horizontally-distributed hydraulic energy storage device, energy recovered by a hydraulic loop can be stored in the energy accumulators which are connected through threads and fixed in the movable arm and the bucket rod in a horizontally distributed mode, energy storage and release of each energy accumulator are controlled through a wireless data receiver so as to solve the problem that the space of an upper vehicle part of an excavator is small, and the energy storage path is too long, and achieve the space-saving effect.
