The building external sunshade turning plate system comprises a vertical keel, a mounting base, sunshade blades and a driving assembly; the mounting base is connected with the vertical keel; the mounting base is arranged on the side, away from a building, of the vertical keel; the mounting base is detachably connected with the vertical keel; the connecting position of the mounting base and the vertical keel can be adjusted; the sunshade blades are rotatably connected with the mounting base; the driving assembly is fixed on the vertical keel; and the driving assembly is in transmission connection with the sunshade blades. The sunshade blades are mounted on the outer side of the vertical keel, the sunshade purpose can be achieved by adjusting the angles of the sunshade blades through relative rotation of the mounting base and the vertical keel, the sunshade blades can shield the vertical keel, and the attractiveness of a device is improved; and meanwhile, the connecting position of the mounting base and the vertical keel can be adjusted, so that the mounting difficulty of the sunshade blades is reduced, and the operation convenience is improved.
